Curry for Change

Whilst everyone else is chucking buckets of icy water over their head or running 10 K under the moonlight, or whatever else for charity, I've finally found something I could enjoy doing in order to raise money for a good cause. Curry. Curry for Change to be precise. Find your Feet is an organisation that helps families in India, Nepal, Malawi and Zimbabwe to grow enough food so they don't have to go hungry, to strengthen their voice so they can speak out against injustice and to earn enough money so they can find their feet.  To help change lives, they asked me (and many others) to simply host a curry evening. My kind of evening. How could I refuse? Cooking and eating curry, one of my favourite things, with some of my favourite people, in order to help people...

Hosting a curry evening could be either cooking a curry (well, of course!), ordering a takeaway, or indeed going out to one of the participating restaurants, and then simply ask your guests to donate whatever they wish (suggesting the amount they would usually pay for their curry). Every penny you help to raise will be matched by the campaign partner Natco, which means we can make double the difference to the lives of families suffering from hunger.

There's still time if you wish to do the same, until the end of October. Find your Feet will send you a fundraising pack with recipes and spices and Natco will double your donation!

Donate online by clicking here.
Or Text FEET00 and the amount you wish to give to 70070.

Thanks to the Rhona and Lauren for their generous hostessing.
And all our gorgeous guests.
What better way to celebrate being friends for 20 years?

The chapatis didn't turn out so good!
And there was some saag aloo along the table too...
